About Shakewell

Rapper Shakewell delivers intense hip-hop songs built on confident flows, eerie production and lyrics about substance abuse and other real-life struggles. • Before rapping, Shakewell played bass in the Los Angeles metalcore band Betrayal. • He made his solo debut with the since-deleted Pray for Shakewell project in 2015. He’s gone on to release two EPs—Key Stone Prince (2017) and Big Juice the Sip (2018)—and a slew of singles and features. • Shakewell announced in 2020 that he’d signed to G*59 Records, the label run by the New Orleans duo $uicideboy$. He’d previously worked with $uicideboy$ on the 2017 track “Venom”.
