In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember The Beatles' "I want to hold your hand," and the 2nd movement of Mozart's G-minor symphony. Then later, in college, listening to Coltrane's "A Love Supreme," and thinking "I want to do that." Over the years, a mix of classical and jazz. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, A Love Supreme Little has to be said about this masterpiece. Although I generally play in a gentler, less intense voice, the harmonic and rhythmic imagination on display here has been a great inspiration to me.
