After years of building the rhythmic foundation of modern thrash metal, drummer Dave Lombardo finds inspiration close to home in Venamoris, the dark pop project he assembled with his wife, Paula. Her haunting songcraft and his percussive onslaught on tracks like "In the Shadows," "Truth," and "Spiderweb" -- all from 2025's sophomore album, To Cross or To Burn -- make for an intriguing combination.
