The precision drill beats of Artie 5ive's music are in step with a swath of hip-hop from the late 2010s and early 2020s. What sets him apart, of course, is his lyrical command of the Italian tongue, inspired in equal part by a lifetime in Milan and his ancestry, which includes the west African republic of Sierra Leone. He’s racked up his share of Top Ten albums and singles, including the chart-topper “Cadillac,” “Top G,” and “I Love It,” the latter a collaboration with fellow rapper Anna.
