Ralphie Choo

Ralphie Choo's electronic and maximalist brand of avant-pop can be described as a collage made of urban styles, synthesizers, and heavily processed vocals with sonic experiments, flamenco, and other Spanish folk traditions. Born Juan Casado Fisac in Madrid in 1998, he studied music production and began uploading his own material around 2019. It did not take long for his truly original voice to attract considerable attention, thanks to a stream of singles and collaborations that earned Choo flattering comparisons with artists such as C. Tangana, Sen Senra, and Rosalía. His full-length debut, the acclaimed Supernova, was released by Warner Music in 2023. Moving on, Choo preferred to avoid overexposure and concentrated instead on a few singles and carefully chosen collaborations (Rosalía, Rusowsky, pablopablo), as well as production work for the likes of Judeline and Amaia.
