SDP

Although the name stands for the very hip-hop-sounding "Stone Deaf Productions," SDP is a genre-mixing duo from Spandau, Berlin, favoring satirical lyrics and ridiculous videos. Formed in 1999 by members Vincent Stein and Dag-Alexis Kopplin, SDP introduced itself in 2002 with an album of demos, Angriff aus Berlin. In 2004 the two went official with the album Räuberpistolen, then in 2006 they ruffled some football fans with the EP Antifussballmusik. In 2012 SDP cracked the German album charts with the release Die Bekannteste Unbekannte Band der Welt, while 2014 saw a crack of the Top Five with Bunte Rapublik Deutschpunk.
