In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is creating beats on an old laptop during a thunderstorm in South Africa. The lights flickered, the bass shook the room, and I felt pure magic—realizing music could turn chaos into emotion. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Avicii, Avicii Forever Kygo, KYGO Trinix Remix, Daft Punk (Mashup) [feat. Trinix] - Single Each showed me how electronic music can carry real human emotion. They taught me that every beat can tell a story and every melody can feel like home. Tell us why you chose this song. “As ek môre nie meer hier is” I chose this song because it’s the most personal song I’ve ever written. It captures the feeling of wondering if your voice will still echo after you’re gone. Every lyric came straight from my heart, turning vulnerability into something eternal. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was hearing my song “Tyd staan stil” played on South African radio for the first time. Sitting in my car, l realized my dream had become real — my music was finally reaching people’s hearts. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One big goal still on my bucket list is to reach the Afrikaans Top 100 Apple Music playlist. It would mean the world to see my music standing alongside the artists who inspired me. That moment would prove my sound really connects with people.
