Hugo Helmig

Danish vocalist Hugo Helmig was an ebullient performer with a sound that touched upon acoustic balladry, anthemic pop, and electronic dance music. He first emerged in 2017 with "Please Don't Lie." It went platinum and landed at number 20 on the Danish pop charts. In 2019, he issued his debut album, Juvenile. Helmig died on November 23, 2022, in Copenhagen at the age of 24.
