In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My most impactful musical memory was when I first heard "Egypt, Egypt" by Egyptian Lover. That was the inspiration that made me who I am today as an artist and producer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Parliament, The Best of Parliament - Give Up the Funk The Egyptian Lover, 1983-1988 The Notorious B.I.G., Life After Death (2014 Remaster) I grew up listening to Parliament. That funky sound was so powerful! Egyptian Lover's 1983-1988 takes me back to when I was first inspired (by Egyptian Lover) to become an artist and producer. The Egyptian Lover)” Hypnotic is my comeback single. It comes 37 years after my last release, Feel My Bass", and features The Egyptian Lover - the one who first lit the fire under me to become a DJ, artist and producer. It's so special because it gave me new life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The very first time I heard my first song, "It's Time To Rock" (as Matrix), playing on the radio! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! To reach a BILLION streams and bring that "DJ Matrix Sound" back to the world for good!
