Cazzu—aka singer, rapper and songwriter Julieta Cazzucheli—has been hailed as the Queen of Argentine Trap since the release of her acclaimed 2019 album, Error 93. ∙ Cazzucheli said that writing and performing as Cazzu inspired her female empowerment anthems: “She’s my alter ego. She’s a damn superhero.” ∙ “Loca,” her 2017 Gold-selling collaboration with Khea and Duki, raised her profile in Latin trap, as did the release of a remix featuring Bad Bunny. ∙ Her breakthrough as lead artist came in 2018 with “Toda (Remix),” which went Gold in Argentina. ∙ Error 93, which she said was influenced by Halsey’s Badlands, earned her a nomination for Female Album of the Year at the 2020 Tu Música Urbano Awards. ∙ She was a Best New Artist nominee at 2020’s Latin Grammy Awards.
