In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Maybe my first memory of any kind. I was sitting on my grandfather's lap. He was a gifted pianist and he was "teaching" me how to play "Take me out to the ballgame" I was just hitting the keys, but I fell in love with the ability to make sound. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Buckley, Grace Radiohead, In Rainbows The Beatles, Revolver What these 3 albums were able to do within the framework of pop composition is simply staggering. There is incredible songwriting as well as some innovative arranging. The experimentation and the ability to stay grounded is always impressive. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wrapped In Rags” Above all things, it's our first song! It was the song that kickstarted the project that became Altgeld. It is simple, but (we think) interesting in its layers and melodies, with a pulsing beat that becomes hypnotic. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime you finish a recording that you are proud of is a great feeling. When people you respect and look up to tell you they like it, that is even better! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Most of the bucket is still left, but we are working on it!
