Contemporary R&B artist Genia is a frank songwriter with a yearning voice equally suited to throwback soul and pop-flavored productions. She established herself with cover versions uploaded to TikTok and made a transparent transition into writing intensely personal songs after she signed with Def Jam. The Victorville, California native has recorded two EPs, namely 4 PM in the Ville (2023) and 4 AM in the Ville (2024), along with a handful of stray singles that includes "Give" (also 2024), which quickly attracted seven-digit streaming figures.
