In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was little I would bang my hands on pots and pans cause I was a walking problem and eventually my parents had enough of that...so they got me a drum set which further deprived them of sleep. But now ima buy them stuff too so its all cool What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cage the Elephant, Melophobia Kid Cudi, Man On the Moon: The End of Day Passion Pit, Gossamer These albums inspire me daily, not only from a lyrical and production standpoint but from the effect that they had on culture and in shaping my youth. The songs on these got me through some crazy times as well as helped make amazing memories. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Two Pens” I wrote this about my friends, whom I love very much. It's about being there to support each other even if you have to do something crazy like pack up all of your belongings and drive across the entire country to start a new life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Moving to LA definitely was the most memorable moment for me in my career. I moved into this horrible apartment in West Hollywood where my neighbor was absolutely bonkers, I did anything I could to get into sessions and be a part of the scene I'm in. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to perform to a sold out Red Rocks amphitheater, I went to music school in Denver and I remember the first time I was there I was just looking out into the crowd like "yeah I'm gonna have to rock out here haha."
