Bally Baby's affable disposition and knack for bright melodies are belied by his cold-blooded street narratives. The Alabama-born, Atlanta-based rapper came not to notice in 2015 as one-half of Cool Amerika, and within three years -- after the success of his and Jose Guapo's "Big Ole Facts" -- released his first solo mixtape, It's Bally Baby (2018). He has since put together the additional solo projects Hood Only Hope (2019), Sorry I Was Scammin (2022), You Not Dat Special (also 2022), and WDF Did You Expect?! (2025), along with the Hoodrich Keem collaboration Baby Drank (also 2025).
