A founding member of the influential hip-hop group SOB X RBE, DaBoii represents a new generation of rappers keeping the Bay Area sound alive. • DaBoii started out making music with future SOB X RBE bandmate Yhung T.O. The two would rap into their iPhones and add beats via Playstation. • SOB X RBE released their self-titled debut mixtape in 2017 and toured as the opening act for Sage the Gemini. That same year, DaBoii released his solo debut mixtape, Young Wild N***a. • In 2018, SOB X RBE released two albums—Gangin and Gangin II—and recorded the track “Paramedic!” for Black Panther: The Album. • Daboii dropped his solo debut album, Neva Lookin Back, in 2018. • He returned in 2020 with Tour Vibes and Remotivated, plus Demon and Mufasa, a joint project with Yhung T.O. • Also in 2020, SOB X RBE seemed to split up after years of breakup rumors.
