Stuck

Chicago post-punk group Stuck plays music that's difficult and fun at the same time. Their songs are full of angular melodies, wiry and insistent guitar work, lean and unrelenting drumming, occasional bursts of keyboards, and vocals that bark and wail. However, Stuck takes these ingredients and invests them with manic energy, over-the-top action, and clever wit, making even their most extreme work genuinely entertaining. Stuck made a relatively subdued debut with 2020's Change Is Bad, while their energy and cohesion took a big step forward on 2023's Freak Frequency. They opened up their formula to new accents on 2026's Optimizer.
