Combining his signature West Coast drawl and hyphy-influenced beat selections with modern rap styles and youthful lingo, rapper Frostydasnowmann is a torchbearer of the “New L.A.” sound. • Frosty started rapping to pass the time while he was incarcerated. He penned his single “187” while behind bars when he was about 14. • In 2016, Frosty and fellow rapper Lil 7 went to the studio to finally record “187”, which became Frosty’s first single. • The rapper released his debut project, MiLLioN DoLLa MiSSion, in 2017. Years later, the single “Ya Digg” resurfaced on TikTok, soundtracking thousands of videos. • Later in 2017, Frosty returned with Xtraordinary, featuring his breakthrough single “Milwaukee Bucks”. • Though his blooming career was interrupted by a two-year incarceration term, Frosty returned to the rap scene in 2020 and released the single “Dead Beat”.
