Tastemaking producer DJ Scheme helped to mold the raucous sound of modern South Florida rap. • Before he became a producer, DJ Scheme played drums and trumpet. • The Palm Beach native credits Outkast, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Denzel Curry and Raider Klan as key influences. • DJ Scheme has worked with Florida rappers like Wifsfuneral, XXXTentacion, Ski Mask the Slump God, Kid Trunks and Craig Xen. • His 2020 debut album, FAMILY, features Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Mosey, Ty Dolla $ign and the late Juice WRLD.
