In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I learned harmony as a kid by singing along with the radio, with no formal music training. My memory of writing my first song is that I had an idea of what I wanted to hear in my head, and I just plunked it out on a piano until I found it! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour Lizzy McAlpine, Older (and Wiser) Taylor Swift, folklore I adore the musical textures and the candor of the songs in each of these albums. Tell us why you chose this song. “South of Cheyenne” This song is 100% true story. It felt so sweet and honest to write. But the real magic is that this song had existed for under a week when Tyson agreed to produce it for me. I'm such a fan of his, and he brought the story to life in a beautiful way.
