In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Max: Hearing Thundercat's ‘Drunk’ at age 11 inspired me to start producing jazz-influenced tracks. Eden: Hearing a Lemon Twigs song at age 7 made me suddenly wanted to learn the entire song on guitar and sing (scream) the lyrics to my neighbours. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun George Duke, Don't Let Go (Expanded Edition) Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Mama’s Gun: The flow between songs and Erykah’s storytelling through her lyrics and melodies. Don't Let Go: Duke’s harmony, unforgettable synth sounds and insanely smooth solos. Songs In the Key Of Life: Each track is simply a unique masterpiece. We poured our hearts into the lyrics, melody, harmonies and chords to take this from a short overlooked instrumental demo into one of our favourite tracks. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the Tell Me Remix blow up online was pretty spectacular. It gave us the opportunity to be heard and make many new great connections with fans and other artists. We're very grateful for the doors that it opened for us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Meet Stevie Wonder, release a second album, tour, and then meet Stevie Wonder again :)
