KAVARI

Glasgow-based experimental electronic artist Kavari unleashes an ear-scouring mélange of IDM, industrial, ambient, and harsh noise heavily influenced by horror-movie aesthetics. Cameron Winters was born in Liverpool and raised in rural northern Scotland from the age of five. Growing up on early EDM and avant-pop, she was soon delving the depths of the internet for the most experimental electronic music she could find. Moving to Glasgow in her early twenties, she started releasing music online under the Kavari name, soon building up an extensive discography. Her uncompromising artistic vision drew a cult following and saw her hyped by none other than Aphex Twin himself. After years of self-releasing everything, Kavari finally signed to XL; her debut EP for the label and first physical 12" vinyl release, Plague Music, was issued in February 2026.
