Farmaan SMG

Mumbai-origin rapper and lyricist Farmaan SMG is one-third of the Punjabi hip-hop trio Sardari Music Gang—alongside Baggh-E SMG and BIG KAY SMG—who have been redefining Punjabi rap with their ‘new school’ sound. The trio write, compose, produce and mix their own material, crafting hard-hitting tracks that blend bold statements with modern hip-hop production. Farmaan’s gritty delivery on “Bexley .Road”, “NYPD” and “C.R.E.A.M POSSE” helped cement SMG’s hit-making status, as did their 2025 EP Let’s Create The Time. Beyond SMG’s core releases, he contributed to 2023 EP WHEN WE RIDE with Real Boss, solidifying his reputation as a versatile voice pushing Punjabi rap into bold new territories with uncompromising energy and authenticity.
