Empress Of

Under the name Empress Of, Honduran-American vocalist/songwriter Lorely Rodriguez creates introspective, self-empowering electro-pop centered around her impressive, acrobatic vocals. After releasing a variety of dreamier tracks beginning in 2012, she established a danceable, more spontaneous sound on her 2015 full-length debut, Me, that embraced whimsicality and percussiveness. 2018's collaboration-heavy Us was followed in 2020 by her third album, I'm Your Empress Of, a reflection on heartache and isolation. She then released the EP Save Me (2022) and collaborations with artists such as Jam City, Jim-E Stack, and Rina Sawayama.
