Bananagun

Australia's Bananagun draw heavily from vintage psychedelia including Tropicalia, '70s Afro-beat, and summery retro-pop as well as spiritual jazz for their animated sound. After garnering acclaim for their 2019 EP Do Yeah, the group issued their debut album, the uplifting The True Story of Bananagun, in 2020. Reflecting a period of upheaval, a more overcast tone characterized the more experimental, jam-based Why Is the Colour of the Sky? in 2024.
