About Liv.e

This L.A.-based experimental R&B artist delivers an inventive, sometimes lo-fi and muddy, groove-based take on the genre, evoking jazz and funk. From 2017 onward, Liv.e -- pronounced "Liv" with a silent "e" -- released a series of EPs on Dolfin Records before issuing her debut full-length album, Couldn't Wait to Tell You..., in 2020. Girl in the Half Pearl, a more cathartic, drum'n'bass-influenced second LP, appeared in 2023. She completely overhauled her sound with 2024's PAST FUTUR.e, a brief album of minimal wave and synth-punk.
