I remember standing in front of the TV at our old house in Ikoyi, watching the 'We Are The World' music video and trying to hit all the riffs and runs the way they were hitting it. I was maybe 5 or 6 at the time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Luther Vandross, Luther Vandross Rihanna, Good Girl Gone Bad (Deluxe) Whitney Houston, My Love Is Your Love I don't think I'll be a singer or musician today without these albums existing. 'Luther Vandross' was from the quiet long drives with my dad; 'My Love Is Your Love' was always our Sunday evening ritual; 'Good Girl Gone Bad' made me believe. Tell us why you chose this song. “open love letter” This was one of my first tries being completely and brutally honest in my music. I loved the intentionality of the beat being pure R&B, but delivery and enunciations giving off very Nigerian vibes. It was a rage song, one I'm proud to have written.
