In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is listening to the Doors on a family road trip. My brother played them, and they became forever important to me. Jim Morrison was my first music idol. I later found out we share a bday and that really amused me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Blackstar Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Talking Heads, Remain In Light These three albums are all some of the most important albums to not only me, but the development of music as a living organism. I love the tones, dynamics, feel, and lyrics of these albums, but they're also crucial to what modern day music is. Tell us why you chose this song. “Some Surprise” I initially wrote these chords for a commercial, but it didn't get used, so I turned it into a full song and I think it's my favorite of my lyrics. It's about trusting fate despite uncertainty and trial. Time is multidimensional and reflective.
