AJ McLean

Best known as a founding member of the iconic boy band Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean is a gifted singer/songwriter and dancer known for his soulful, pop, rock, and R&B-influenced work. McLean initially rose to fame with the Backstreet Boys in the late '90s, scoring a bevy of hit songs like "I Want It That Way," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," "Larger Than Life," and others. Along with his continued work with Backstreet Boys, he has released his own solo material, including his 2010 debut Have It All, as well as singles like 2019's country-influenced "Boy and a Man" and 2021's "Love Song Love;" the latter in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Following TV appearances on Dancing with the Stars, his winning run on RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race, and Netflix's Building the Band, he delivered his 2025 EP, hi my name is Alex.
