In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing Für Elise as a child deeply moved me with its mix of melancholy and beauty. I learned it key by key after school to relax.Though I grew up singing in church, and I’m no longer religious, that moment showed me music could be a personal escape.
