Adrian Mantu

Cellist Adrian Mantu has been active both as a soloist and as a member of the ConTempo Quartet. With that group, he has toured widely, performing for Nelson Mandela, Pope John Paul II, and Britain's Prince (now King) Charles, among others. Mantu has recorded with the ConTempo Quartet and in other chamber music configurations. In 2025, he joined accordionist Dermot Dunne on the album Cello, Accordion, Ireland, featuring music by Irish composers.
