About Makthaverskan
Makthaverskan have a dramatic take on indie pop that adds punk attitude and post-punk drama while still being suitably pretty and melodic. Fronted by Maja Milner's speaker-rattling vocals and played with desperate energy by the group, their early works served as a dark rejoinder to the bright, smiling indie pop of Sweden in the early 2010s. The band's first three albums delivered on this promise before they shifted gears for 2021's dreamily atmospheric För Allting. They switched back to something more dramatic on 2026's Glass and Bones, an album that built on earlier work while taking in some of the elements of their previous release.
