In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I fell in love with the blues when I first picked up a guitar. B.B. King was my hero, i just wanted to be able to rip on a guitar like him. later on in my journey, I focused more on songwriting. that led me to Amos Lee, Ryan Adams and Ray Lamontagne What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Paradise Valley Ray LaMontagne, Trouble (20th Anniversary Remaster) Ryan Adams, Ryan Adams these albums have all moved me for the same reason, the Honesty and the transparency. sonically they all encourage the story being told. Tell us why you chose this song. “Canaan” the Journey of an Artist is long and challenging. After 15 years, I finally found my sound and was able to make it tangible and accessible. It's timeless and I know I will feel the same way years from now. "CANAAN" is the beginning of a new chapter. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? opening for Patti LaBelle was a huge moment for me. It gave me the confidence to keep going even when it didn't make sense to. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? there is much left! Many heroes I still want to meet and places I'd like to go to. its never ending!
