Jan Vogler

Cellist Jan Vogler developed from child prodigy to a versatile artist atop the contemporary scene. He has been especially active in the chamber music field, both as performer and organizer. Vogler issued his debut recording, an album of Beethoven works for cello and piano with Bruno Canino, in 1996. One of Vogler's most-acclaimed recordings has been his traversal of Bach's six Suites for solo cello. He worked with Kent Nagano on the premiere of Sean Shepherd's On a Clear Day, released in 2025.
