In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Making mixtapes before they were an actual "thing" within a government flat complex. We recorded music over cassette tapes using a toy Casio keyboard and drew our own album art! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Chiwoniso, Ancient Voices Delasoul, Buhloone Mindstate These albums capture reality unapologetically with a cruel, humorous, spiritual and poetic/artistic profundity. There is despair, yet hope and somehow they come to a resolution to encourage you to seize the next day in a mindful presence. When a group is oppressed it doesn't mean it cannot harbor tyranny within itself.
