Brian Nasty

London-based D.I.Y. experimental rapper Brian Nasty trades in a borderless, genre-mashing sound with heavily manipulated vocals, influenced by everything from pop and indie rock to soul and jazz. Born and raised in North London, Brian started writing and producing music while still in school, and self-released his first single, "No Games Boy," in 2017 when he was just 17 years old. The warped psychedelic track blew up on music blogs, but Brian refused to be rushed into issuing new music. Making sure to take his sweet time, he managed a grand total of one single a year between 2017 and 2020, with his most substantial release coming in the form of the Pyjama Party "mixtape" in 2019. Brian joined Ninja Tune offshoot Big Dada in 2022, releasing his debut EP for the label, Growing Pains, in 2023. His second EP, Anywhere, But Here with You, followed in 2024.
