About Boy Golden

Boy Golden is the musical persona of Canadian singer‑songwriter Liam Duncan, whose easygoing blend of folk and alternative country is rooted in the people and prairies of his Manitoba homeland. Boy Golden emerged in the wake of Duncan's emotionally taxing 2019 solo album. In 2020, he adopted a more optimistic sound, debuting with Church of Better Daze (2021). His rootsy, psych‑tinged releases earned major accolades, including a CFMA win for For Jimmy (2023) and a Juno nomination for For Eden (2024). "Suffer" hit number one in 2025, ahead of Best of Our Possible Lives (2026).
