In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to folk sessions in tiny village pubs with my parents. Witnessing musicians just turn up, pull out weird and wonderful instruments, and join in with whatever was being played at the time. An amazing schooling in the importance of listening. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Everything Everything, Mountainhead John Martyn, Solid Air John Mayer, Continuum All three have massively influenced my music making. The blend of songwriting and musicianship on Continuum changed everything for me when I first heard it. Solid air is a masterpiece of acoustic guitar playing. Mountainhead was on repeat in 2024. A song that perfectly reflects how I've been feeling over the past couple of years. It was a kind of therapy writing it and getting those words down helped me find a way through. Musically and lyrically one of my absolute favourites. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having my song 'Sail Away' played on BBC Radio 2 - a radio station I grew up listening to in the car with my Dad on the way to school every morning. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many places I still want to tour! I feel like I've barely scratched the surface and can't wait to take the new music out on the road far and wide with my glorious band.
