In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is watching my dad play the drums at church every Sunday. I noticed how much impact percussion brought to everything. This stuck with me, because now I always make sure the drums hit hard in my records. It starts with an ominous, hard-hitting beat that struggles, shifts into an atmospheric moment of freedom, then drops 'back again.' I loved creating the production of this record.
