A Puerto Rican musician who first gained prominence as a producer, J Castle had already amassed numerous credits with stars like J Balvin, Anuel AA, and Young Miko before stepping out on his own in 2023. Since then, he has moved through various facets of Latin trap and reggaeton, building up his profile with tracks like 2024's "Trajecito" with Dei V and 2025's "Tokicha" with Hades66, the latter of which became a breakout hit. In early 2026, he and Lyanno released a collaborative EP, Jet Lag.
