Supa Squad Essentials

When Isaac “Zacky Man” Rosário and Marley “Mr. Marley” Rosário formed Supa Squad, they shared a goal of shaping the future of dancehall in Portuguese. Coming from a musical family, these cousins from Cape Verde have been performing since childhood. They didn’t find their niche, though, until they developed a way to infuse a traditionally Jamaican dancehall sound with contemporary beats, leading to the burning reggae energy of tracks such as “Bend Ova”, “Aleluia” and “Get Up and Tan Up”. Their collaborations with artists across the Lusophone scene have further diversified their sound.
