About Versengold
Versengold is a folk-rock group and a mainstay of the German medieval music scene, featuring pseudo-historical ballads, bawdy drinking songs, and the occasional Elvish lyric. Since their formation in the early 2000s, the band has evolved from a LARP‑inspired acoustic project into one of the foremost names in the German folk and medieval‑rock scene, releasing acclaimed efforts like Zeitlos (2015), Was kost die Welt (2022), and Eingenordet (2026), the latter of which debuted at no. 1 on the German charts.
