About Racing Mount Pleasant
Ann Arbor’s Racing Mount Pleasant emerged in the 2020s with a tender, ambitious and folksy sound, using their seven-strong musical roster to land a middle ground between their Midwest roots and contemporary scenes of post-rock and folk rock. After rebranding from Kingfisher in 2023, the group gained significant global attention with their spacious 2025 self-titled, Racing Mount Pleasant.
