In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At age 10 I was writing songs for fun. Everything aligned a few days after turning 14 when i sent my mom a message that changed everything: “Mum, I want to become a rapper; it’s my calling”. That was the moment Champz was born. Tell us why you chose this song. “Superstar” This track is a reflection of my pain, scars, lessons, and awakening. It is the sound of a boy becoming what he was born to be; A Superstar!!! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was realizing I wasn’t just making music for fun anymore.I was stepping into it professionally at 14. That moment changed how I saw myself. It made me more confident, and fully aware that music is truly my purpose. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Although I’m just getting started, but my bucket list for now is about making music that truly connects, collaborate with artists I admire, and create songs that stay with fans long after they listen. That’s what drives me daily.
