Death Lens

A band with their own distinctive take on punk rock, Death Lens summon an emotionally powerful mix of lean guitar-based punk, vintage garage rock, surf music, and Britpop, wedded to lyrics that address social and political concerns from a Latino point of view. The group began as an instrumental act before literally finding their voice when guitarist and founder Bryan Torres took on singing lead. The surf and garage influences were clearly heard on their 2016 debut album, Fuck This. By the time they cut 2022's No Luck, their guitar attack had been beefed up while they became more musically sophisticated, and the more polished and carefully detailed production on 2024's Cold World captured the many layers of their sound.
