About Jiggy

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. That infectious Kapuka/Genge energy from the early 2000s — E-Sir, Nameless, Gidi Gidi Maji Maji, Longombas, Kleptomaniax — still takes me right back to those dusty afternoons, cassette tapes, and the pure joy of local sounds ruling the airwaves. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Sherif, The Villain I Never Was Emtee, Avery Lil Durk, Almost Healed They represent growth and ownership in a world that tries to box artists. That inspires—especially coming from places like Nairobi where we see hustlers turn pain into power. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Music that inspires the next gen from slums to say "if Jiggy made it, we can too." Tracks that become anthems like "Unbwogable" did back in the day.
