In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is as a very young boy, skipping and dancing around the living room in my family home to an instrumental folk melody on an old tape recorder. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Angela Morley, Watership Down (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Danny Elfman, Edward Scissorhands (Music From the Motion Picture) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Yann Tiersen, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (Bande originale du film) These three soundtrack albums have been the most inspiring and influential to my melodic solo piano works; from quaint & quirky Tiersen, to magical & majestic Elfman, and the emotive & lyrically pastoral Morley. Tell us why you chose this song. “Words Unspoken” When I was composing this EP I was experiencing a feeling of disconnect with the world. As I have found so often in my life, creating new music at my piano provided a sense of great solace and means to express myself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
