Deastro

Randolph Chabot, an indie electronica producer from Sterling Heights, Michigan, released music under a variety of monikers, the most acclaimed of which was Deastro. His first release to garner significant acclaim was Young Planets/Time the Teenage Twister (2007), a double album co-billed to Deastro and another of his monikers, Our Brother the Megazord. The following year's Keepers, a digital album exclusive to eMusic, was also acclaimed. Also in 2008, Chabot associated with Ghostly International and made his label debut on the Ghostly Swim compilation. The fantasy fiction-based Moondagger followed in 2009. ~ Jason Birchmeier
