In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is from around 2014, headphones on, lost in the golden era of EDM, Avicii, Martin Garrix, festival anthems in my ears. I felt a rush of emotion and knew I didn’t just want to hear music. I wanted to create it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Böhmer, Begin Again Porter Robinson, Nurture Porter Robinson, Worlds Worlds and Nurture by Porter Robinson, and Begin Again by Ben Böhmer. Worlds showed me how emotional electronic music could feel, Nurture taught me vulnerability as an artist, and Begin Again gave me hope during one of the darkest times in my life. Tell us why you chose this song. “out of view” I wrote this during a period of quiet change, when I was becoming stronger, Looking back, I felt drawn to parts of myself I hadn’t lost, just couldn’t see. Every rewrite brought me closer, and the final version feels honest, unforced, and clear.
