About Discovery Zone

The solo project of musician JJ Weihl, Discovery Zone binds together melodic synth pop, retrofuturism, and smart songwriting into a distinctive amalgam that is all her own. The American-German Weihl was previously a member of the Berlin art-pop band Fenster before going solo at the end of the 2010s. Her 2020 debut album, Remote Control, introduced Discovery Zone's immersive world, which includes conceptual art, video collage, and PowerPoint presentations. After signing with the RVNG Intl. label, she returned in 2024 with Quantum Web.
