Welcome to Moderna Records. Since 2015, we’ve been hard at work building a home for artists creating singular instrumental music. We’re here to trace a line from electronic sound designers to classical composers, connecting them through the realms of ambient and cinematic music. We put a great deal of thought and care into our curation, which is informed by our love of minimalism and geometry in visual art, architecture and music. We collaborate closely with our artists, bringing an intimacy in our approach that is reflected in the music on the label. We’re based in Canada and are grateful to collaborate with like-minded artists throughout the world.
